Kumi Yamashita is a Japanese artist based in New York known for her ability to handle different surfaces and thus managing to play around with their shadows. Here is her latest work. Using just a sheet of paper and projected light she was able to create shadows showing different profiles, including that of Chancellor Angela Merkel.
