"Clifton is a unique engagement ring case that can be easily slipped into the pocket or the wallet. The discreet design allows the case to be easily hidden without showing much profile. At approximately 1cm thick, Clifton presents the ring with a delightful flower blooming effect when opened, enchanting the moment.

The concept design was originally created in 2011, titled "Packed Engagement Ring", and was then launched under the name “Clifton” in 2014."

Sculptor Randall Rosenthal specializes in turning single blocks of wood into intricately detailed sculptures of ordinary objects. Each piece is carefully and painstakingly whittled down from a solitary woodblock and meticulously painted to give the illusion of anything from a cardboard box full of money to a disheveled stack of comic books.

The artist's collection of work boasts mind-boggling creations that are not only diligently carved and thoroughly painted, but also presented in visually realistic compositions. Whether it's a messy pile of magazines, a worn deck of cards, or even a translucent envelope full of international currency, Rosenthal brilliantly simulates texture, tone, and form in every sculpture he carves and hand-paints.

As if the result wasn't enough, Rosenthal also admits that he doesn't work from a reference picture. Instead, the gifted sculptor manages to produce his impressive work on the fly. He says, "I don't work from photos and mostly there is no model either. Generally they are made up in my minds eye and created in a reductive process, making it up as I go." He adds, "My hope is they will seem real from a short distance [and] the fact that they are common objects helps in this regard. But on close inspection I don't try and hide the fact they are wood."

Beautiful honey packaging for Klein Constantia Farm by Terence Kitching.

"The small white box resembles a bee hive box with embossed ridges to denote planks of wood & nails. The famous Klein Constantia crest is gold foiled on the front of the box below the diecut slit that has one bee on its way into the box inviting you to open the packaging. The box opens to reveal a, bee covered, honey comb pattern as well as small diecut bees packaged inside each box. all the bees were also detailed with gold foiling."

Heres what the folks at You And Me, The Royal We tell you:
"If you buy a set, put yourself down for a "thank you" card. If you don't buy a set, a "fuck you" card is earmarked for you. If that last part was offensive, we owe you a "sorry" card. See how well they work?!"

Designer Jamie Wieck gives chocolate-giving an update with this clever idea: printable chocolates. The individual chocolate “pegs” can be arranged in a box to form a word or short message that is printed on the top inside of the box (thanks to chocolates with a low melting point which allows the chocolate to melt even in room temperature). Unfortunately, it’s only concept, but hopefully something like this gets mass production.
