Nike Football Man

Not to be outdone by Coca-Cola’s giant dude (which I personally didn't find interesting enough to post about) at the World Cup, Nike worked with Ratcliffe Fowler Design to create this incredible hanging sculpture made up of 3000 individual soccer balls.

  1. I have a question regarding your feed settings: Are they on purpose set so that only the post headlines are shown in feed readers but not the post itself? If so: It is very annoying ...

  3. Okay, that's strange because I only get the title (in the Google feed reader). Too bad, because I like to see whole post so I don't have to go to the Website if I don't see the need to ... :(

  4. BUT I WANT YOU TO GO TO THE WEBSITE :D

  5. Right, but that's not how it works ... If I want to comment, I go to a website. Everything else I read in a reader. Someone who uses a feed reader would rather not visit a website at all than that being the one site he/she has to access especially via the browser. After all, it is not about the number of visitors but about being able to spread your content ...

  8. I didn't recognize, that this statue was made out of balls. The idea is great but it's implementation is poor. The golden color isn't suitable at all and the shape of the sculpture tells about serious body illnesses of the depicted soccer player.
