Starbucks Creates Portable Drive-Thru Coffee Shop

In an initiative to redesign and rethink its brand identity, Starbucks has opened a store unlike any it has before.

Located in Colorado, the new drive-thru and walk-thru coffee shop is portable, and was first constructed in a factory and delivered by a truck. Devoid of the ultra-modern interiors of leather chairs and power outlets, the experimental green structure has an organic wood façade—with the wood sourced within a 500-mile radius.

The wooden Starbucks is ‘modern modular’ and LEED-certified, and was designed by senior concept design manager Anthony Perez.
